Description

Wanuka Premium City Honey is a natural honey from our city bees in Wanne-Eickel. It is carefully harvested, cold extracted and finely filtered – a genuine artisan product straight from the region. Each vintage has its own character, shaped by the weather, flowering time and the diverse nectar supply of the city.

Origin & specialty

Our bees collect their nectar on balconies, in gardens, on traffic islands or flower strips. This diversity creates a unique taste that can vary from year to year. Sometimes lime blossom dominates, sometimes raspberry or lavender – always natural, always unadulterated. We completely avoid blends with EU or non-EU honeys.

Taste & quality

Wanuka city honey impresses with its golden yellow color, full-bodied aroma and creamy consistency. With a low water content of around 16%, it has matured for a long time and is of particularly high quality. Each batch remains a unique specimen of nature – as diverse as the city itself.

Every jar you buy supports our urban beekeeping in Wanne-Eickel. We are involved in the Blühende Landschaften network and are actively committed to protecting bees and insects. Your purchase helps to raise awareness of the importance of bees and promote environmental education.

Note

Honey is a natural product. Crystallization is a normal process and a sign of quality. If necessary, honey can be liquefied again in a water bath up to max. 40 °C. Not suitable for children under 1 year of age.
